Download and install Gretl
Windows
System requirements. As of version 1.9.4, gretl requires Windows XP or higher and a processor that supports the SSE2 instruction set. SSE2 support is found in all modern processors; it is absent in AMD CPUs prior to the Athlon 64, and in Intel CPUs prior to the Pentium 4.
MacOS
If you're running OS X 10.6, 10.7 or 10.8 ("Snow Leopard", "Lion" or "Mountain Lion") we suggest trying the 2021a release of gretl. If you're running OS X 10.5 or earlier please see our gretl for legacy Macs page.
